What is the desk height range?

UPLIFT has an extended 26” height range that works for almost anyone. The T-frame desk goes from 24.5” - 50.5” including the 1” thick desktop. The C-frame desk goes from 25.25” - 51.25” including desktop. For reference, a fixed-height desk is typically 29”. If you are taller than 6’ 6”, you may want to add the locking casters, which will provide an additional 1.5” of height to the desk.

What is the difference between the T-frame and the C-frame?

The T-frame is constructed with bent steel and uses the traditional height-adjustable desk design of centering the legs over the feet. The C-frame features curved aluminum feet, and offsets the legs toward the rear of the desk, providing added stability.

How long is the warranty?

UPLIFT Desks include a 7-year warranty, covering all parts of the desk frame. If you need warranty support, just give us a call to diagnose the problem. We’ll ship you any needed replacement parts within 1-2 days at no charge (free shipping applies to addresses in the lower 48 United States). You also have the option to extend your warranty to 12 years.

 
How does the desk ship?

Most desks with 48", 60", or 72" tops will ship UPS Ground. If your desktop is 84", the desk will ship via freight truck. Standard free freight shipping includes loading dock or curbside service; you will bring the individually boxed items inside. Upgraded delivery options are also available. When you place your order online, we’ll call you to go over the delivery process.

How much does the shipment weigh?

The frame and desktop are boxed individually. The frame weighs 70 pounds, and the top weighs about 50 pounds, depending on size. Unloading the shipment and bringing it inside is typically manageable for two people, or one person with a dolly.

How will I know when the shipment is coming?

For both UPS and freight deliveries, we’ll send you tracking when the desk ships out. If it’s a freight delivery, you will receive a call letting you know the day and 4-hour window the shipment will arrive. The driver will usually call when he’s about an hour from delivery. You can also contact the freight company directly with delivery questions.

I’m going to be out of town on certain dates. Can I schedule delivery?

Although we can’t guarantee a delivery date, we can hold the order and ship it toward the end of that window, so that it will arrive after you are available to receive it. If you absolutely must receive the desk on a certain date, please call us.

 
How difficult is assembly?

Assembly usually takes 30 - 45 minutes. We have detailed instructions and a helpful assembly video, and you can call us for assistance if you have any trouble. We pre-drill the desktop holes to make the process go more smoothly, but you can place the legs and keypad differently if you like.

How do I fix the RST or ASR error code?

You just need a simple reset. See this video for instructions. If your keypad shows a different error, or if the reset process doesn’t work, please call us.

How stable is the desk?

UPLIFT Desks are ANSI/BIFMA certified for best-in-class stability and safety. Because they are built to move, all height-adjustable desks will have some movement at the higher settings, especially if you intentionally shake the top. The following tips can help ensure stability:

  • Leveling glides are adjusted for uneven flooring
  • Assembly is completed correctly, with screws completely tightened in the correct order
  • Optional crossbar is included in assembly
  • Choose the C-frame for added stability
